I also try to buy U.S. made products as often as possible OZ, but we would not have an awful lot of things if that were the case. The funniest is walking in NY and picking up a miniature Statue of Liberty and seeing Made In China on the bottom.

It's one thing to buy something "made in the USA" or "made in the UK", it's another to realise how many of the components are built overseas. For example at least half of your US built Ford is made up of parts made overseas. It's not just cars, you can apply that to most products, it's just the way things are...
