Buying a Stingray from Amazon?

I've also checked Bass Central but they don't have the exact one that I want either,

I just peeked over there, and they have a great price on a Demo unit, and you can buy a black pickguard from them as well...so that will make it exacty as you want it.

Or they also have a 2eq natural/maple/black guard. I assure you, you would love the 2eq also!

Many dealers have the 25th's in stock, Fran. Amazon does have very fresh inventory...if they have something chances are the box will never have been opened.

Some concerns are:
- The product description doesn't mention whether it is a 2 or 3 eq (although the photo shows a 3 eq) or whether a hard shell case is included (all MM instruments come with hard shell cases right?).

If you can post a link to the one you are looking at we can tell you if it's a 2 or 3eq. Amazon lists the item number in their description and we can easily tell from that. Also, I don't think we've sent any 2eq basses straight to Amazon, so if they are selling it direct (not from Musician's Friend as mentioned by phatty) it is most likely a 3eq.
We ship all our basses with the hardshell case included.
