I cannot get rid of the buzz on my JP. But it is very wierd that buzz comes only from the A string. No matter how much I raise the action or tighten or losen the truss rod, the buzz is always present. It makes me really nervous. Although it isn't heard when playing with the distortion, it can be heard when playing clead, or even more when playing piezo. What should I do? The buzz comes from the second to 10th fret. And just on the A string. Even though I raise the saddle enormously high, the buzz doesn't go away :( :( :( :(

Its the weather, me thinks. I had all three of my balls set low, and then one night I went to play and they all buzzed like a SOB. For me the answer wasn't only raising the action or truss rod adjustment, but BOTH, a tweak here and a tweak there, and patience...

I have 6 JPs and had fret buzz problems on all 6. I had the frets leveled (dressed) and they are perfect now. I think I just like my action lower than these are set-up for. A bad habit from my Ibanez days. But I agree the weather makes minor tweaks unavoidable occasionally. But these might be the greatest guitars ever built - at any price. These guitars are built fantastically, simply the best. Hope this helps, D.
