Buzz problem - electronics

Looking for a solution to a buzz problem - grounding issue. I've had an on-going problem with on-board buzz for a while. I've had the preamp and pickup replaced twice over the last ten years by two different reputable luthiers. Still a buzz. There is no buzz in SWR or Ampeg rigs but is very noticable in the Eden rigs. For recording I usually have to get grounded by sticking a wire inside my guitar. Has anyone had similar problems??
