Question Bypassing the tone control

Is there a simple way to completely take the tone control out of the circuit?

Cut one lead on the capacitor.

Yep. Another handy trick is to put a push/pull in there ... you can connect/disconnect it as you like.

All you need to do is get a No-Load Tone Control to replace the stock one. That way when you turn it to "10" its taken out of the circuit completely. But 0-9 functions totally as a normal tone knob would. I use them on all my guitars along with a .22 tone cap. Very easy to install!
