Anyone know of a reliable repairer in the London area who could fix my Ray jack socket issue - I am too scared to start messing around with it myself!

You could try Joe White in Farnborough,Hants. He is a very skilled luthier and has recently done complete set-ups on an SR5 and a Bongo for me.

Logistically, I supposed I could drop it off to the bass centre on my way into Canary Wharf in the morning and then pick it up on the way home - that would work! - Thanks Jamie.
