After seeing the superb photos of the pair of anniversary stingrays in gsdito's thread. I wondered if gsdito or anyone could give some advice regarding the photographing of basses/guitars.
be mindful of the background!
not that I know what I'm talking about, but sometimes the all white background makes a finish look...really really really wrong.

I find that encyclopedias really bring out the colors in a bass.
xapexi, is that Buttercreme or white with a strange lighting illusion ?
Whatever the color....it looks very nice.
