It's J-O-N :D I didn't write it, but Scott Ball and I are going to re-write the set up info on our website in the FAQ section. There is TONS of good info there that will walk you through the set up process. If you still have questions, post here and I will help you out. I am not at work until Monday, but I pop in here throughout the weekend and ban bass players who poke fun at guitar players :D

Ok jon, 1st- Trust me when i say, You are the man. I 7can't decide if you do your job as well as you do b/c you love it so much or b/c you're trying to get a raise. I'm sure that you are very much appreciated at eb. 2nd- I finally had the opportunity to get my serial number for you. Its e32463. 3rd- I'm having an issue w/ my 4th & 5th string hieghts. Especially my b string. In order to get the buzz out of my b-string at the 7th fret on up i have to raise my b string way up off the neck where only about a month ago it was perfect. I have just the slightest bit of relief in the neck and use 45-130 gauge strings. I've done all I know to do. I've straightened the neck and adjusted the saddles accordingly and also i've put more relief in the neck and adjusted accordingly there, but I cant get it to feel right. Could it be that my neck is twisting?

OK...Agreed. I AM the man. I do love my job, but I have pretty much given up on getting a raise. 2nd That serial # comes back as a Black SR 4 string. Wasn't your bass a Blue Dawn 5 string? Better check the # again. 3rd, It sounds like you have done all the right stuff, but I would have to see the neck to really make an evaluation, but a neck just won't go bad in a month unless you take it swimming with you or something. If you can't get it right, and want me to check it out, let me know.

I'm almost certain thats the serial no. I'll check again tonight when i get to the club and make sure i wrote it down correctly. It is a blue dawn sr5. I'm gonna keep working w/ the neck and see what happens. If i cant get it right, i'll let you know. I'll also look at that ser. number again. Thanks bro.
