Hey Brian, I know you read these forums & you play StingRay5s - why don't you friggin register already ?!?!?

Maybe you'd like to tell the story about how you got a new bass at your last gig? :D

Brian is a really great guy and is a good friend of mine. He's also a rock-solid bass player. I've had the pleasure of jamming with him and the rest of his band Yellow 9 Yellow9 on many occasions.

Brian was also kind enough to go into the studio and record an instrumental with me on super short notice. He did a great job of it, too - Thanks, Brian!

Should I use the conditioner on my new bass?

I was thinking that a new bass doesnt need the fretboard conditioner for a while....

I don't know. Seems like a good idea, though. Keeping it conditioned so it stays consistant and nice, and you don't get to the point where it looks too dry and the frets start poking out a little. My $0.02 worth, anyway.

What a beautiful bass! I hope mine has that figured of a top when it comes.

As far as the lawn watering, we just recieved notice that anyone in my area of Indianapolis caught watering their lawn can have their irrigation water supply shut off until next year due to our dry spell we have been having!

BP, yes we finally have gotten some rain this weekend. Bad for the race, but good for the landscape. Maybe now they will lift that watering ban. Next time you come to Indy, stick around a bit. It really is a great place despite the poor NAMM show a couple of years back.
