To my ears a Stingray HS can sound pretty close, but a jazz is a jazz and a Ray is a Ray.

Just noodling tonight with my Stingray SR4H, a Jazz, and a P-J. The 'Ray has a sound all its own. It has a deep clear voice with an aggressive overtone: the mids are there in a different guise than the Jazz. The aggressive character of the sound takes on a more serious, less buzzy tone than a Jazz bridge pickup, while the treble is less muted than the 'Fenders' and has a more open quality. Apples/oranges. Hope this helps.
