thanks...KM

Any Better Pics or Closeups With Good Lighting ??

Can anyone (owners) tell me about the actual Envy Green finish ... is it a basically a solid colour ... or does it burst ... or is their any sparkle ... or is it metallic ???
Target instrument = Bongo5 Fretless
Alternate choice = Rolls Burgundy
tnx / Rayan

are there anymore special editon colors slated for their debut? I'm holding on for some kind of purple...though that green is really nice...i'd put a red pickguard on around the holidays though :p

They've started to ship. Bovine's Bongo is probably waiting for him at his house right now while he is in DC. It shipped from EB a couple of weeks ago.

I played one at NAMM in Envy Green. It looks better in person than it does in that picture.

Tnx for the update and the colourtastetest ... it's always nice to be pleasantly surprised when you first open the case ... /R

[Hot Prediction - the next Limited Ed colour will be a pearly/metallicy DeepSeaBlue shifting forth & back to PassionPurple under light ... WhiteIce will be the initial PG of choice ... but Lady Rockers will lobby hard for a PinkishIce PG option for this baby depending on proof of gender (ahhemmm) terms and in the final moments Sterling will soften under the intense heat of public pressure ... just enough to make me weaken once again and order a Bongo5 HHP / Rosewood to mate with the EnvyGreen HSP / Fretless]

Actually bassmonkee, it shipped from Daddy O's Music Shack-Bov's choice of dealers! ;)

How hard would it be to find a bongo in envy green? Is that green pickguard just for the finish?

Sorry Zombiegrrl, the Envy Green Limited Edition color was stopped at the end of July. Your best bet now is going to be a used one on the Evil-Bay or someone here.

Well, I meant it shipped from EB to the dealer (ie you :p ) a couple of weeks ago. That's why I assumed it had reached his house by now. I certainly didn't think it took 2 weeks to ship from CA to TX. :D
