Help! Can I buy a replacement neck for my StingRay 4?

Hey guys,

I'm new to the EBMM forums, but I'm certainly not new to EBMM basses!

I have a question that I hope you guys can help me with (and yes, I did a search but couldn't find what I was looking for). Is there any way I can purchase a new neck for my StingRay 4H from the EBMM guys, and, if so, how do I go about doing so?

I had a car wreck a couple months back, and my Ray unfortunately saw its neck take a bit of a beating. It didn't 'break', but it got a couple nasty gashes in it, and it has been twisted to the point where it's not playable in all areas of the neck. Needless to say, I'd like to buy a new one if possible.

Hi, James. Welcome to the forums. Bummer about your bass.

Unfortunately, Music Man won't simply sell you a new neck by itself; they won't just ship it to you to install yourself. Instead, they're going to want you to ship them your bass and they'll repossess your old neck. (I had a situation like this myself some four years ago with a bass of my own.)

Call customer service right away and they can help you out.
