I picked up an original luke 1 with floyd and it doesn't have any "felts" on it where the strap buttons connect.

I am going to put some schaller strap locks on it and would like to put the same washers that my other EBMM guitars have on them. The molded curved plastic one for the horn and the flat one for the rear bout.
I've done the google search to no avail.

Any one know how to get these?
Cheers,

Tom

Did you try calling customer service and asking? Very helpful people.

By the way, I switched from Schallers to the Ernie Ball strap locks, and I much prefer the EB ones. If you have not already tried them, maybe you should give them a look. Not noisy or clanky like the Schallers, and far less likely to have the fastening nut loosen and fall off (which with Schallers can result in guitar on floor).

DrKev,

Thanks for the suggestion. I just got off the phone and they took care of me like royalty. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've contacted them for various parts, guitar availability, etc...and I can't say enough good things about EBMM's customer service. Top notch and top shelf all the way.

re: strap locks, I sincerely appreciate the suggestion however being the old dog that I am I have not yet tried them out. I have been using schallers on my guitars for nearly 30 years. I have them on all of my guitars so it makes switching the straps effortless. Perhaps I'll check them out at my local shop... and who knows... =) Thanks again for the suggestion.

Cheers,

Tom

DrKev,

I don't like the Schaller either - Dunlop fan here - but not familiar with the EB version - clue me in! :)
