I'm sure you could do better with staff discount!? - Even in US money I'd go for a grand or more...

I'd say 1500 US. I've seen them go cheaper, but those were few and far between.

I picked up a "road dog" JP6 for $600 and spent another $140 repairing the piezo.

There was a Mystic Dream JP6 at GC in Natick. Someone bought it online and decided to return it. They had it for $2100 and during the list sale, 20% off. Someone coulda (and maybe did) walk away with it new for about $1700. It's gone now. Someone fess up.......
