Can this really be NOS 2004?

This caught my eye. I am no expert on MM Basses by any stretch, but looking at the bridge, it doesn't seem like it should be a 2004. Any thoughts?

Yeah, that's much older than a 2004. Maybe a 1994?

If the bridge is original, it cant be newer than 1996.

I totally lucked out and got a NOS 2004 Ray w/case for $600 from a store that just got tired of looking at it and needed the money!

Not mine but I was interested in it at one time. The neck is gunstock oil and wax finished and it has the correct metal battery plate.

It's been there for a while. They might be open to offers.
