in short.... no.

MusicMan, to my knowledge does not have regular factory tours. All forumites were invited to a tour and all sorts of other fun a bit over a year ago during Open House. But as far as i know there is no "normal" tour.

as far as the guitar being hand picked... well, i seriously doubt that. its possible, everything is possible... BUT all EBMMs are built when theyre ordered. They dont just happen to produce a red axis assuming someone will order one in a few weeks.

id say its bogus info.

What Phatty said and I'll add.

I believe employees get to choose their axe....not sure about options. They might be bound to the same options as us. Not really sure...but, no, you can't just go to the factory and pick your axe.

Could you imagine the line there....I would be sleeping in the parking lot....:D

So would most of us... We wouldn't need this forum anymore, we would just nudge the guys beside us, or yell across the parking lot to each other. And I can just imagine the ruckus as anyone left the building..."What did you get?? Lemme see, lemme see!!!"

Yeah...no kidding! Then Big Poppa would have us all banned to the point we would have to dress like him to try and sneak in....LOL.....:D
