Here in france, we call them tongs (without h)or clappette (due to the noise). To avoid any disturbing confusion, stay to flip-flop with BP.

Back from hollyday, I try to catch 6 pages of new threads back, with a lot of photos, new stuff...my god the HS SR4 makes me have a h...-o.. Not to mention what the HH SR4 will do...

I knew a few people who called them thongs, but mostly everyone else called them flip flops, including our family. I grew up in Philadelphia.

Referred to as "Thongs" and "Flip-Flops" here at the Jersey Shore
.. we use "Tongs" to navigate foods on our grills/bbq's and most
use the word "hero" as opposed to "sub", etc. when referring to
oblong sandwiches.

If BP is wearing the REEF's I have them too...

I bought them last summer in Hawaii after stepping on a WANA... Sea Erchin. I wear them all of the time and everyone should go buy some!
