I think you could find one in a better condition for a lower price.

But that pacific blue burst is a sexy finish.

What do you think someone should pay for this bass? And how much is one like this brand new?

"This bass is also unique due to the custom finish."

How can a factory available finish be custom?

BIN is high, as the others have stated. I'd throw in a bid somewhere around 7 to 8 c-notes and see if it flies. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Like at Mr. Jack above who can get you a Napolean Dyn-o-Mite! deal on a new one in that very same finish.

Is basscentral a good place to purchase a bass?

I placed a order through bass central last month with an ETA of 2 months. I have itchy fingers though and cant wait to get a hold of one.

Anyone know of any places that could possibly have one already there...I may look around some more.

once in a while Jack will bust out with a list of basses in stock at EBMM for various reasons that can be ordered immediately.

No! They're run by Satan!

Okay, alright, I like Bass Central but I'm more fun.

Jack

Put it this way. Bass Central are fun, but Jack swallows. For the same price or thereabouts, which would you prefer?

If you call Beaver back, ask him for more details. Is the 2 months he quoted you on a bass that was ordered awhile ago for stock. Or, is he claiming that's the wait for a new custom order.

After he tells me when my HH SR5 will be here though.

I'm showing a projected date of 7/28/06 Stankyface which will put it right at 4 months from order which is about right...anyone saying any different on a new special order is talking out their pie hole or some other orifice...period!

Well, considering Bass Central's "conveniently" gigantic stock of EBs, it's quite possible that he did have one on order. I mean, the bass in the auction is blueburst 3-band SR4 with matching headstock and a maple board--not exactly an unheard of combination and they could very well have one on order, if this is the combo in question. Despite what Mr. eBay Custom SR might think. :D

So, it's running about 4 months, eh? I need to look to see when I placed my order. Have I already reached a possible halfway point in my wait? Oh, man......
