hey guys!!
i know alot of you are from the states but i was wondering if any forumites would recommend any uni's in sydney for studying bass?
i desperately want to study at ICMP (institute of contemporary music performance) in london but simply cant afford the course fees at the moment (circa £6,000)... so my plan is to go back to aus and do a year at a uni there where the government will lend me the money to study and help me out a little with rent costs etc. and then apply for the scholarship which EBMM so generously gives and hopefully get my ass back to the motherland.
question is... do any universities come recommended to you guys? ive found one or two online but with something like this i really want to know that im going to be in a course that will help me grow and not just be trying to build a name for itself as a 'prestigious uni'. thats what i have loved about ICMP, they seem to be really down to earth in helping people learn. also comes recommended from my current bass teacher who is in their bachelor degree and she is a freaking legend.
do EBMM support any australian music colleges??
thanks in advance
xoxo
