Can you hear the bass in these cuts

hi my band put some tracks on our myspace but i'm not sure if i'm cutting through the mix. Could you listen to it and tell me if it's cutting through, or else i'll probably have to either re-record or remaster the tracks.

The first track is the worse. It could come up on all of them. The effects on the guitar don't seem to be in sync with the tempo of the songs. The high hat and cymbals are the main culprit of drowning out the bass. Bring them down. Helter skelter seems to have the best bass sound until the hat and cymbals come ripping in. I think the vocals could come up a hair also. This is only my opinion from listening on my computer speakers. Good luck!

thanks, with headphones i've been able to hear it crystal clear but that could be because i know what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to be a bass heavy band and live it is. it just seems on this recording that there's no bass and too much treble. I just wanted to see if it was just me who couldn't hear it (i was slightly deafened when i was kicked in the head and broke my right ear drum doing Muay Thai) or if it was a real problem.

The guitar is really out of tune on "Fade Away".

With the headphones on, I can hear the bass. I wouldn't say it's cutting through. Have you tried a fresh set of strings?

i realized that problem after the recording and put them on about a week ago. i didn't realize until after that they were dead

I can hear it as it should be expected, its deep in the mix and not too out front, but it's definately there as far as I can tell.

alright, but it definitely needs to be moved up then. in the live sound it's at the forefront of the mix

I am no expert but it needs to be separated from being deep below the drums to somewhere in between drums and guitars.

in my old bands i never had to do any of the mixing or even pay attention to it so it's a little new to me, thanks.
