I know Brian Mascarin. He has done some work for me on my guitars and painted some my friends basses. He is an excellent tech.

Regarding the guitar itself...
I was told on the FB EBMM page, that it was painted by a Toronto guy named Brian Mascarin - a local luthier/tech.

Apparently it was signed by the band and then auctioned off. That's all I know.
Been searching for photos of it for ages and ages! Came across the two pics in this thread, on another forum. Very cool!!!

So it was an aftermarket mod on the paint work, I thought it was a one off special from BPs camp.

That's very cool! I looked him up out of curiosity, yet haven't tried to contact him.

Btw - who took the "flying Eddie" picture with the Canada Flag guitar? Are there any more photos, or any contact info?

For your general interest, here's a couple of more photos from that Canada Day gig.
I got these out of a local indie newspaper/magazine, shortly after the show.

Eddie with his main "baby" back then, the amber quilt EBMM;

vhMcG, thanks for sharing, they were great days, VH churned out some great tunes and Eddie played the best guitar of all time :)

I was in the front row at that Molson Park show and even caught Eddie's pick during Best of Both Worlds. I was disappointed that it didn't have the VH logo. Just a plain, yellow pick.

In honour of Canada Day, they played Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World" when Eddie came out with this axe. actually didn't remember the guitar being autographed.And I agree with the others that Steve Stevens was AMAZING during the opener. Until then, I had no idea how good he was. Wonderful memories of that show. I

Right on! I might've even seen you there! LOL.
Do you have ANY pictures etc. from the show? Even the opening acts or the park itself? PM if need be... Cheers :)
