This is not color EBMM manufactures... it is, IIRC, from Jeannie's Pickguards - don't quite remember, since a) I bought it used from another forumite, b) these pics are from last night's gig and I haven't had enough sleep and c) I'm suffering from a severe caffeine deficit.

Nice Pics Douglas, the cream pearl guard does look good indeed.

p.s.: you were dangerously close to the dart board. I hope there weren't playing darts. ;)

I kind of like the matching chord. Gives me a reason to go shopping today.

Not a cream tie... trick of the light. Black and white zebra tie to match the infamous zebra shoes.

The cord is custom made by Butch Ammons at Bayou Cables. He does great work, but lately has been overloaded with orders so it can take a while to get what you want.

I like having a cord I can see because I'm less likely to step on it in the dark.

That looks sweet. I was thinking of getting an aged pearl for my 30th anniversary model. The black on it is nice, but wanted to make it mine you know.

I bought the bass new from Brandt at TPB, and it came with a White Ice guard. I've always felt that white was too stark, so I swapped it straight up for a black guard.

I like the classic subtlety of the black on dark red (both CR and the 30th are like that), but I soon realized that the bass would completely disappear on stage.

The cream pearl guard makes the bass "pop" visually while still being classy.

I have to say I've never really considered changing the OE pickguard.....til now. That just might look pretty dang good on my 30th.

dang! wish I could go shopping with you, T-bone.

Well then gitcher butt up here, dang it. Nothin better than walking into a GC with maddog. Although now he'll have to check his camera at the door.
