The wiring on the JP6 with Piezo uses printed circuit boards and it's not yer "run of the mill" 50 Gibson style of wiring.

Now I'm not dissing your tech but there are some out there that I would not trust.

At least ask S & T for advise and ask them if they know a Guitar repairer in your neck of the woods that knows MM guitars.

I believe that this will save you a lot of heart ache, time and money in the long run.

Shame - I was due to be in Liverpool next week but now have to go to Bradford :(

Cool - I trust my tech, I go up to a guy in Manchester, he actually owns musicman stuff aswell, he says its an absolute joy to work on musicman stuff, it took me years to find a tech I can totally trust!

I thought I was going crazy and that there was no way Jp was using this guitar For his sound. I actually didn't plug it in for the longest time due to the fact. But all is great now.

Techs can be good but I'd go through customer service. Mine went through two shops and two pickups and nothing was solved. As soon as it was sent back it was a different beast. CS was fantastic and the turn around time was quick. I strongly say go this route. Hope it all works out for you!!
