I had to take my trem arm off and lost the tiny hex nut :( i wasn't bothered because i have never used a trem arm. Now i'm starting to experiment with them but can't fit my trem arm back in place!! do i need to get another nut?

would appreciate some help :)

Hi GG
Welcome to the forum.
I can't think what "Hex nut" you are referring too?- the trem arm just pushes in or out without the use of a hex nut.

This picture (courtesy of fellow forum member Kevan) gives a good explanation about "what does what" on a Pet trem block

A= Trem Bar Tension Adjustment (spin control)
B= Bar Spring Mounting Screw.
C= Bar Spring (this is what the notch in your trem bar hits to keep it in the trem)

For those with piezo, your piezo junction board is mounted on the opposite side.

That tiny set screw on the bottom left of your picture adjusts the depth of the tremolo bar in the block. It goes way up inside and is difficult to see. Are you sure it is missing (did you take it out)?

As mentioned before, you should really contact customer service toll-free at 1-866-823-225.

If you aren't in the USA, then email [email protected] and they will advise you how to fix it!

Edit - just saw you deleted your other reply.

Cheers Spud!
i just figured the A= Trem Bar Tension Adjustment (spin control) must be in the way because i couldnt even get the bar into the trem block, so i awquardly divebombed with the trem arm barely in the bridge :s and managed to loosen it with an allen wrench.. now it slips in fine :)

I must have taken the trem out and the trem bar tension thing must have poked out or something..

thanks for the help mate :D

From the photo I have taken of the Pet trem block you can see that there is no hex nut underneath.

Edit
I see that you have removed the picture that you previously posted
