wow. gadd shoulda got publishing for that motor. unreal how he is splitting those sections up and makin it payoff. even among the all time greats, there's only a few of them that could do what he just did for that tune.

You know... this choice was not really about 3 vs. 2 band for me. It really came down to weight, and the fact that this particular Ray was a great one. I would still like a 2-band someday.

I don't want to hijack your thread but, by any chance, did you play the used sunburst fretless piezo Stingray at the store ?
I'm looking for one at a decent price, and it's a very rare species especially in France.
I'm about to buy it and if you could tell me your opinion I would be more confident.

Ed, that's a very nice bass you have there. I can really appreciate the weight. I just finished a 2 1/2 hour practice with my 10.5 lbs Stingray. My middle back is all cramped up. May be time to look for something lighter.
