Caprice diamond blue

Hi
I’m in the process of prepping a sterling body for a refinish
Really liking the diamond blue that was used in caprice basses
Looking through colour charts, looks very similar to ford diamond blue that was used in mid to late 60’s Thunderbirds?

Does anybody on here have any idea where the colour originated?

I really don't know but you're on the right track with the automotive paint.

The biggest majority (not saying all of them) but research old Ford colours and that will put you on the right track
