Here you go! Unfortunately the lighting in my flat does NOT do the CAR colour justice (should take some more photos outside). If anyone else has better photos of an EB CAR guitar, then feel free to show them off!

Subliminal messaging eh? :D (not that I need the encouragement, the price Dave's asking is a STEAL!)

Let's hope all works out on the financial front :)

Gah I cracked!

Have just PM'd Dave to tell him that I will take it! (Pending the £££ of course) :D

This place is evil I tell you - EVIL! :) (I'm already planning what bass I want next... eep!)

Now I've just got to wait and find out if I'll get the work bonus I need for this baby!

I hate waiting

I guarantee it's well worth the wait. :)
I bet it is! :D

You've been waiting 4 months? Crikey - I think the wait for a built-to-order bass would KILL me... I'm not the most patient of people - not by a long stretch  How do you people manage to pass the time?!?

Well, to pass the time...

I bought a Bongo

I sold the Bongo

Am now looking for another SR5

Still in love with my SR5 that I got 2 1/2 years ago.

Recorded part of a CD

Spent way too much time on these forums

And that about covers it.

I'm glad you liked the photos! It is a beautiful bass, and I am glad I lived with her for a while to help make my decision about preferring the Stingray neck. Unfortunately I must now decide whether to get another SR4 (HH) or take an SR5 or Bongo for a spin next!?! But at least I know I can pretty much choose any EB bass and if I decide I prefer something else later on, then they are not the most difficult basses to find new homes for :)

This place CAN be EVIL Azzy (at least to our wallets), but I'd much rather buy/sell/swap basses with fellow forumites than go the EvilBay route. We just need more UK forumites on here to get swapping more basses! "Unfortunately" the majority of owners over here seem to like their basses so much they never want to sell them!

Heh-heh... Dr. Stankface, the CLEANEST man on the forum!

HeyDave feel free to take my Bongo for a spin.....not playing for a while now. Pm or mail me to discuss.....

You are right I think we UK forumites love our basses too much cos they travel so far and the waiting times......you could try my SR5 HS if you can prise it from my cold dead hands.....mind you wait til after the daughter is born and that might be a lot easier:)

Cheers for the offer Rob, that's very kind of you! When you say you are "not playing for a while now" do you mean the bongo or bass in general? I know you have a baby on the way, is this preventing you from playing bass? I would think some bass soloing might be quite useful in lulling newborns to sleep :)

Ha-ha, I know exactly what you mean (though I do not have any children running around my house yet). I will wait until your hands are full and prise that SR5 from your live, busy hands! If only Azzy's bonus was certain and the deal could have been sorted earlier, I might have been able to order some DD goodness. Oh well, I'll try to be ready for the "next" one!

Ah just taking a back seat from the band till Xmas, still playing at home though - got to or else all that good work disappears. Bring on the scales, modes, and Simandel's bass book.

I will look out for a shadowy figure muttering about Bongos in Norwich later this year then.

Actually quite sweet really - found if I rest the head of my bass on my wife's bump and play the little one wriggles around.....might have a potenital Who fan let alone a bass player:D Or perhaps a very early critic!!!
