Its been a 7 months since we last connected with Tommy. We first met him at the Staples center a few days before Michael Jackson passed away. We took a 25th, Silhouette Spc (in White) and a Luke. Tommy was hooked right away and the guitars were put into the set immediately! I remember going over the setlist with him figuring out which guitar was best suited for each song. Beat It, Billy Jean, Smooth Criminal, ect. It was fun being a part of the selection process. The setlist was hit after hit for a solid 2 hours, I could not believe it.
Three more rehearsals and the last day was filmed for what is now the This Is It documentary. He told me that the tour was slated to go on for 5 years with breaks in between giving Michael some rest. Tommy and the crew had apartments in London paid for throughout 2010, so they could be in residence to handle all the shows. I remember the smile on his face with so much at stake. Of course things took a different turn less than a week later.

Tommy's new gig is the George Lopez show! 11:00pm M-T-W-Th nights.

Check out a clip about Tommy being in the house band! The only other guitar he uses is a custom hand-built piece he has had for years.

Keep an eye out for him, including a Jackson reunion/tribute tour in the works for down the road. I think its safe to say Tommy will be a long time MM fan!

Enjoy.

We don’t get that show up in Canada, or at least my TV package doesn’t get that station.

Nice to see some Balls being played on the talk show circuit.

Thanks foggy.

I like George, I used to watch his sitcom.

Im with that Large satellite company so to add one station you have to order a bundle for an outrageous amount of $$. Plus 11pm is bedtime. Too bad, but I will have to miss it.
