I would love to have a small music store with good instruments. We have a crappy little store in town with way overpriced POS models. Maybe I need to start an ebay store. Can a person get a dealer agreement from EB? One of my dream jobs is to move to SLO and work in the EB factory. Then I could go and eat at Moes for lunch every day and put my gum in the gum alley afterwards. I am just in a rambling mood today.

I wonder if Sweetwater won't carry MM because of the price. Most of the instruments they carry, with the exception of Fender, are bargain/budget instruments. Maybe they're afraid they won't sell as well because of pricing.

It really has nothing to do with price. When you say instruments, I assume you mean "bass guitars" since we carry many high end electric and acoustic guitars. Sweetwater started as a studio so a lot of the stuff we carry is in the recording realm. It wasn't until recently that we even started to focus on guitar and bass sales. There are many Music Man fans on the sales floor, we just have to help our purchasing department understand why we should and NEED to sell Music Man.
