This is my first post on the EBMM forums. I'm thinking of getting a Reflex (while its still possible to find them!), and have a question. How difficult would it be to change a hardtail for a trem bridge on the Reflex? The one I have my eye on has the hardtail, but I'd rather be able to use it with a tremolo arm.

I tried searching under "change bridge" and a few variations, but didn't find a thread with this info - sorry if I missed one.

It would be a whole thing. For starters, you'd have to route the body for the trem. Certainly doable, but surgery and it would affect the value of the instrument. Also you can't buy bridges from MM, so you'd have to use an aftermarket bridge.

Personally, if you want a trem, I would just wait until you can find one (or a "25th Anniversary" - same specs).
