Due to popular demand (myself and my wife included) the natural still sports a tort.

Fun to change 'em up once in a while

The larger sized SR5 pickguard has a lot of impact in red tort. Very nice.

Just kidding, it takes about 5 minutes.

you need a black pickup (cover) for the graperay. that would look good.

Graperay... Bling! I like them. But a black PU cover would look good on the grape. Tort and black go together like a horse and carriage

Nope. Just a quick turn o' the pliers takes the nuts off. Very simple.

I think I saw that done in a movie one time. Quite messy.

That is the first time I have seen a graperay up close, very nice. I may buy one if I find one. Are they rare to find?

Quite a few have recently popped up on ebay. Generally about $900-$1,000 for a fiver. Addl pics here (mine has very nice woodgrain IMO):

Man, that is a beautiful bass. Where did you get the round covers (I don't know what they are called) for the control knobs?
