Hey, I was thinking of changing the 'custom wound' Dimarzio on my Silhouette to an HS-2; will this pickup switch okay or will there be routing or other problems involved because it is a humbucking stack?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin

HS-2 is an excellent choice but there is one better, from the man they tried to copy. Lawrence 465, with adjustable poles on both coils, VERY handy in split coil mode. Annnd...cheaper by a good bit.
'Swhats in mine.

Thanks for the reply ebbsoul but isn't the 465 a humbucker? I am looking at replacing the single coil/middle p/up - eventually I will replace the bridge p/up as well, but for now I find the single coil to be weak and lifeless. I have an HS-1 & HS-3 in my Strat w/a Texas Special as well and all 3 p/ups have lots of life, sparkle & punch. Any other opinions?

My bad, I was thinking sh-1 when I saw yer post and I'm used to folks wanting a better bridge humbucker in silhouettes.
I use Lawrence 280s' in the single coil slots.
