Great job, Drew. You represent your company well.

BP - that's a beautiful factory! You employ what looks to be hundreds of people, instead of building your product off-shore. Thank you, Sterling. You have a client for life.

Not to double quote myself, but does anyone know why this was done?

I looked at the parts of the video that you referenced and in both instances, the final fretwork was being done. Metal tools being used to work on metal frets in close proximity to finished wood...the tape is probably there to protect the wood during the process.

I had no idea that they do that on all necks. They must go through ALOT of green tape. At first I thought that the neck was painted green. That would be kinda cool too! Why don't they paint maple necks in a trans color? Maybe because it would wear off huh?

A very nice video. I've only been able to peek into the factory's lobby window while waiting for Aziah to bring a pup cover.

If there's another open house, I'll be there!

Thanks for sharing this - it's very impressive and to think every one of our basses has been given such personal attention.

Great host as well.

What's the story on spalted maple - is this a new limited line.

So, are most of the employees musicians?

Can't answer that with certainty... however, the people I met while I was there were incredible at what they were doing. Each and every one of them was personable and knew their positions well (there were some that "noodled" for us and they were pretty bad ass as musicians). BP and co have every reason to be proud of their staff... they are wonderful!

BP, thank you for letting HC access to the inside of your lair. I'm proud to be a part of the team (as a player). What craftsmen!!
