butch what part of my gentile hint didnt you get my friend...this is a thread celebrating Joe using and featuring our guitars and not the tired worn out bashing of other makers.

Dont take this wrong but the only hijacks I like are funny or new territory

I cannot throw stones at Gibson or Fender they have built businesses that are so significant that they should be applauded and if they have short comings here or there those are the crumbs of opportunity for people like Music Man. If they did everything right I would be delivering papers.

My apologies BP. I went off a bit; which wasn't very respectful to this forum, you, or Mr. Bonamassa. I have deleted the post. I'll try and watch it....

Does anyone have a recommendation for a first taste of Joe? I'm going to pick up some of his music, but I'm not familiar with his releases. thanks.

Honestly...it's a toss up...you can't go wrong with any of his recordings. For a first listen I would definitely pick up his latest..."The Ballad of John Henry"

he's got a new DVD coming out in September, probably has a lot of the new John Henry stuff live, and hopefully he'll be playing some MM on this one.
