What color is that Bungo? It looks twords the bottom to be black sparkle but on the top it looks to be a blue cololr. None the less it is a good looking JP.

It is Black Sparkle. Just a few strange reflections in the infrequent UK sunlight I suppose!:D

This is interesting. I’m surprised to see this many MM90’s on the favorite list.

Would it be safe to say that the majority who favor the Axis models are hard core rockers? And that those who favor the S/SS models lean more toward blues and classic rock? And that those who favor the AL are strongly inclined toward country? Or is this an oversimplification?

I am not a hard core rocker believe it or not!:D

I use my axis for all styles - but that is probably because its the only EBMM I've got!:(

The Axis cleans up well, it will naill those blues tones if you roll off the volume a bit.

Or

Go balls to the walls rocking. (no pun intended:p )

intersting point, i'm more of a country//classic rock/blues fusiony guy, i dont think i'd ever get an Axis unless it was hardtail, dont need a floyd. i love the tone of both my Axis', but the MM90's are just unreal.

prefer single coils though. would LOVE an AL for my country stuff. though people say the AL is the strat killer, so it must have brilliant tones in all 5 positions. Albert uses neck/middle quite a lot

Well I am not what you can call a hardcore rocker :D

My style, is more traditional rock (major influence : Beatles, Clapton, Marillion and Gilmour and many others). I have always been a big Strat fan and very much in the single coil sound but Axis and Axis SS are just amazing guitars. I even recently bought an EVH not being a big fan of Mr Eddie.

Love the neck, Love the look and of course the sound !!!
