CL/LF in a Rosewood Neck Petrucci?

Hey guys,

I'm curious if anyone has dabbled with this upgrade in a Petrucci with a Rosewood neck? I love the guitar, and really like the crunch lab and liquifire in the new petrucci models. This logically keeps tempting me to try upgrading the pickups in it to the new set (it currently has D-sonic and modified air norton, the stock pickups).

I'd appreciate your input!

Honestly I wouldn't mess with it. I liked the D-Sonic in my old rosewood JP. It's a little more aggressive than the CL so it offsets the warmth the rosewood neck adds.

I did indeed!! I think the immediate difference I noticed was the neck pickup, the LF really opened up the guitar. Also the CL and LF are a much better balanced set volume wise.
