Clarification on JP BFR F-1 guitars - top selection

Can we specifically order these guitars to have quilted tops?

I would dearly love to see a pic of this guitar in Bahama Blue Burst (either in quilted or flame top), which is the color I am ordering.

You cannot specify quilt vs. flame. As of a few of weeks ago, there is no picture of a Bahama Blue Burst JP, because one did not exist. It may still be the case that one does not exist. Dargin, BP, or one of the other EBMM people may be able to confirm or deny. It will be big news in the EBMM world when the first pics hit the net.

Welcome, this subject has been beat too death here, the Quilt and Flame tops on the BFR's are mearly luck of the draw. These kind of quality tops are hard too come by, so what ever they've got that's what is going to be used. Either way it goes you can guarantee it's going to be a Killer Top.

zif...as far as I know (Pete says the same thing...so it is most likely true) you cannot specify.
