Nice review! I am so anxious for mine to arrive. The one that I played at Guitar Center a few weeks back really even turned me on to this bass even more.

Thank you, Ed!

I actually had no idea the pre did cut and boost.

Treble on the 2-band is clearly cut/boost, according to what I've read on this board (from EBMM reps) the bass is techically boost only, but there is a inital bass cut desinged into the whole curcuit, so that the pot actually works again as cut/boost.

It would be really phantastic to have the information on the preamps (also more technical infos like center frequs and gain) either as a sticky or on the official MM website. The topic and questions comes up regularly and seems to confuse people.

Anyway. Back on topic: Phantastic review, Ed. Probably one that will lead to another bass purchase, as was the case with the 25th! Great work!

I loved watching that,my regret is that I didn't get the Stingray thing until I got my MM SUB. The various sounds that ED got from the Classic 4 was amazing, I think that if other bassists who don't play EBMM basses may do after watching that.

It's absolutely amazing!

Great job Ed, great job EBMM, congrats people!

Especially like this short jazz improvisation part, what a perfect tone man, really enjoyed it! :)
