The weather has turned quite cold in the UK, and not suprisingly, despite my basses being stored upright in a dry bedroom in their cases, they need a little tweak.
My Classic 5 was my choice yesterday. The neck was very flat and needed a little tweak. I get the tool I normally use, pop it in the wheel, 2 ish small turns, perfect.
Literally perfect. The lowest fastest action I've had in years!
I am also starting this thread to state just how impressed I am with the feel and weight.
Plug it in, bump the bass to half way, treble up 1/3, that's IT....THE tone.
It's weird, I like 'other' tones, but no matter what, none of them make me smile just like the Musicman tone....its the one tone I've liked since I started to play bass.
Every Musicman bass fan needs a Classic Ray. I love my 3 band Ray's but that treble is really special on the 2 band.
