classic revisited with Bongo / gig SPAM

so for this show that I'm doing on thursday here in Vancouver at Richards on Richards (for anyone in the area that can make it ) we're closing the set with a real Jamiroquai-esque original that then goes into a little funk jam leading into Jungle Boogie for a few bars then the big closer.... Billie Jean!!!!! what a funky song to play and to think of Luis Johnson pluckin' it out (on what I think was most likely a Sting Ray) is a blast. Very fun tune to do.

anywho.... so, tomorrow night, thursday the 22nd, Richards on Richards here in Vancouver. I believe we go on around 10pm.

Billie Jean brought the house down last night! Great set closer and the Bongo almost went out the door of the guitar shop I work at before the gig... a guy came in to try out the Genz GBE1200 and 6x10" that we have in and was using an OLP SR4 copy but said he normally plays a 5 so I grabbed my Bongo5 and like I said, he almost walked out of the store with it but luckily I think I've convinced him to come back in after the holidays and order up a Bongo 5 to his own personal specs.
anywho, the Bongo had fun at Dick's and i should have some pics/video of it soon
