classic stingray fretless

I would buy a Classic stingray fretless today if they where available!
Do you think they will ever make one?
What would be my best option?
Defret one?
Buy a regular stringray and change the pick up and electronic?

I'd buy a regular 4 string Fretless 'Ray with a single pickup and 2EQ preamp. The pickup and 2EQ are the same as in the Classic 'Ray.

I always thought they had a different pick and electronic.
