Will the Classic Stingrays be available in a natural finish anytime soon? I'm dying to get one of these classics in natural but haven't seen it as a color option yet.

There were a few out there at one time. Check with someone at Guitar Center ast hey had about 5 or so in the chain a few months back...I think there was or is one in the Virginia Beach GC and maybe one in at a GC in Texas?? but not sure about now. I have a 2 band Ray that I found at Bass Central but it does not have the mutes...Good luck in the search!

Peace,

T

Right, only Guitar Center got natural finished Classic SR4's. I remember trying one in Hollywood. You'll have to check with them on wether there's any left.

Thanks for the info. I just checked GC Platinum (I didn't even know that part of their website existed) and sure enough there's a few natural Class Ray's there a few out there for $1904.99

There's even one a few hours from where I live.

I got mine from Robbie at the Dallas GC. Awesome bass! It didn't have OMG birdseye... actually more like "cloudy flame-eye" but it feels and sounds just right.

a Classic Stingray in natural finish is IMO the most iconic EBMM bass one can get.

Did you watch PG's video with Scott Ball? Dargie said that the natural Classics have a vintage tint to them to match the neck. That's sexy!

Love the tinted necks.
Is it my imagination or has the maple used in maple necks become much "whiter" these days regradless of brand of bass?

What I would love to see is a roasted body to match the roasted neck.

I agree that would be a sick lookin bass. But wonder if it would almost be too much of a good thing? For example, I love me RW, but don't know if I would ever be interested in a 100% RW bass.
