I restrung my Classic StingRay with the EB Type III flats. I really like the tone and feel of the combination. This is the second bass that I have installed flats on recently.

I had installed some Rotosound flats on my Corvette earlier last week. As Bovine said in one of his posts that brand has a lot of tension. I should have listened to him. I found it hard to play between the pickups and had to play between the neck pickup and the neck. The volume was greatly reduced too. They didn't seem to have enough sustain. I switched them back out today to the stock rounds that came with it. $50 down the drain. :-(

FYI, if you live in DFW you can find EB Type III flats at Mr. E's Music in Bedford.
