Ok. Here is the deal. I have a classical guitar that is just begging for some playing. I am getting with an actual classical guitar instructor who took master classes with Andreas Segovia. Sounds good so far. After talking to him we have the same interest in what I want to do. Site reading and playing.

Now, of course, I need to re-string up the classical. I see on the EB site, there are 3 different sets of classical strings.

Could someone give me the difference as far as the sets go? Just looking for some good information to base my decision on. Thanks.

Hey Koogie, the big difference is that the 2409's have the ball end and the wound strings are made of 80/20 bronze (think Earthwood) alloy wire wrapped around a nylon floss core (which is made up of hundreds of tiny strands). The other two sets are not ball end, so you'll have to tie them down at the bridge. Their wound strings are made of silver plated copper wrapped around a nylon floss core. The only difference between the 2406 and the 2403 is color. It's purely aesthetic. All of the plain strings, no matter which set are made of solid nylon.

Hey Koog,

Can you play a little classical guitar on your radio show after Lesner destroys Randy?? That may help "ease" his pain.

Thanks A.J. I appreciate the response.

TNT - I have Randy by submission. So, the only pain I see is Lesnar's. ;)
