Alex is a real jazz player at heart. I found it sort of funny that his "rock" sections still had very strong jazz sounding phrasing. I wish I could play like that.....

Just checked out the vids... I honestly hadn't heard of Alex before.
I'm a big fan, tasty stuff! I must say my chops are feeling grossly inadequate now haha...
I don't care how high or low your guitar is slung when you play that good! I almost wish i could get away with wearing it that high.. At the moment it's a trade off, low enough to look respectable and high enough to play reasonable.

To the Jonas brother's credit, one consistenly plays a nice Les Paul Studio.

I know it's an amp demo, and the playing is superb, but that Alex vid really shows how much ground the ASS can cover, don't it?

I hadn't heard of him either but loved his playing. I'm off now to try out both my ASSes with my Cube to see if I can get the same sounds (but not the same playing!)

I saw Alex at breakfast at the Novotel, the day after the forum bash. I can tell you that he likes to take his ASS to the breakfast table in the morning!
