I think this is so cool. Tyler, not only being on the forum, but now being an Ernie Ball Music Man endorsed artist. Ben, one of my best friends on earth, playing bass for him. I'm trying to pretend these guys haven't stolen my drummer. (I was trying to set up a rehearsal for last night and Andy was mysteriously "in Paris" - wonder why.)

You want to talk about weird connections. Just today, I was thinking about this guy I used to know back in Houston in the late 70s, a good friend at the time and one hell of a drummer, and so I googled him up and it turns out he once played drums for Rodney Crowell. Who we'll be seeing in a few days. How likely is THAT?

BTW, Biff, the drummer's name is Billy Block and he has this enterprise in Nashville called "Western Beat". You'd love this stuff - definitely old school Nashville, if you know what I mean (and I know you do).
