Hi guys / gals

Just a quick note to all those interested, I am in negotiations with a lady from EBMM to make a personal donation to the CLB Foundation,

For those who don't know what the CLB Foundation is, please read below a "cut/paste" section I've found on the web:

"Currently the world's largest private pediatric kidney foundation, the Casey Lee Ball Foundation is a non-profit organization working for the advancement of pediatric kidney research. Casey Lee Ball, third son of Sterling Ball, was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease at age two. At age five, while Casey and Sterling were recuperating from kidney transplant surgery, they decided to create the Casey Lee Ball Foundation. As a result of their tireless efforts over the last eleven years, several new medicines have made it to the market in record time and are helping to reduce the side effects of kidney transplant medications."

I am a father just like Sterling Ball is and I was deeply moved when I read that not only he donated one of his kidneys to his son Casey Lee Ball but also then setup this charity for the benefit of all other sufferers of Kidney diseases.

In my case my son was born with Cerebral Palsy, and if there was such medical technology I would donate both my legs to him, to allow him to get up from that damned wheelchair and walk to school or play football like the rest of his mates. Unfortunately this is not possible.

Very simply, I don't want to personally start a paypal mass collection or anything like that, as BP clearly said it himself:
DOnations can be sent to Casey Lee Ball FOundation c/o ernie ball coachella...I dont want anyone to in anyway feel obligated or pressured to donate.

he doesn't want anyone to feel under any obligations, and this is to be considered on a voluntary basis, if you wish to donate US members can just send a check directly to the EBMM Coachella address care of Casey Lee Ball Foundation, or you can arrange payments via credit card but for that I think you'll need to get in touch with the EBMM staff at Coachella same as I am doing for my personal donation.

My view on this is that EBMM has done a lot here in the past for many members such as Erin, and the undertaker chap who lost his previous job and had to sell his basses (sorry but I can't remember his username), so, it's only fair that those who share my same views would do something in return by means of a charitable gesture toward this worthy cause.

Thanks

Dont be hypersensitive..Please thank you very much. I am uncomfortable with a rallying cry here. I would prefer that I NOT raise my monies not through you guys....I damage your wallets enough

Also whatever little I do (and most of you guys never know about) is not for publicity or repayment.

I hope you understand that I very much appreciate the thought and kindness but I need to close this......
