Climate change on Rosewood

I am thinking of moving a rosewood neck AL from FL to MT. Should I be concerned about neck movement due to humidity changes with an rosewood neck? MT is very dry compared to FL. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I wouldn't think so; I have three rosewood neck guitars that have been all over the country, and I've never had a problem with any of them.

Same here...bought it in cold NY, moved it to hot Miami, then travelled it to Chile, and no issues whatsoever

My all rosewood neck ASS seems to have less neck movement than my maples. I'm not sure if the rosewood is more dense, but it sure seems that way. I wouldn't worry at all.

I have to agree as well. Throughout the weather changes, I don't think I've had to tweak my truss rod a bit like I normally do with my other necks.

Hey, they feel and sound great, AND low maintenance. How good does it get?

My one concern would be fret sprout. I've experienced it on several rosewood necks here in CO. Fortunately, it's easily addressed.
