I'd love to go . . . cash flow is a problem.

Anybody want to take up a collection for a little known forum member to go to the bash??????

I'd be up for it, but cash is a problem, plus there's going to be a new arrival in the Jimmy house at the beginning of October. Think I might not be the most favoured person if I took a trip to the 'states.

Would love to go though, if only to confirm the rumour that I'm a really bad player!!

so bassists manage their money better?

Nah, just an inpatient wife who wanted to move her career ahead. We still own our house in AL, and we just bought a house here in TN. Two mortgage payments hurts the wallet big time.

But, if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

Dude.

I once bought a set of bass strings that cost $70.

Even Slinkys (one of the best values out there) cost about five bucks PER STRING.

We have to manage our money better. Our stuff costs more. :D

You payed 70 dollars for a set of strings???!??!
I'd say we manage our money better then!
I'm just messing with you, I play some bass as well but I'm not that great so I'm still buying cheap strings!!
