Note to Randy: remove your gum before shooting an interview. ;) :D

These strings seem very interesting. I might have to take them for a spin.

Anyone know if the instruments are equipped with cobalt strings at NAMM? That would be rockin to actually give these suckers a try.

Randy is basically one of the coolest bass players out there. Wonder what shoes he has on...hope they are leopard print.

That binding is stunning.

Definitely want to try these strings.

Just watched this Randy video again and again, ...and spotted that nut at 1:33 minutes?

What kind of nut is that?
Something new?
What kind of Stigray is that anyway?

BP- when will these darlings be delivered to stores in Canada? I think I will need to throw a set on my roasted ray to teach my fellow canuckleheads some tonal tact. I was pumped about how good the slinkies have been sounding on that beauty but cannot wait for a set of these!! Honestly this is exciting! How long has it been where the only choices have been flats or rounds, Nickle or stainless. I love innovation, thanks for leading the charge EBMM.

I see musiciansfriend.com has them listed, but I don't see a Cobalt 5 String Power Slinky set. Does it exist? I like the tighter feel and sound of the Power Slinkys.

Can't wait to try them. Thanks BP for more affordable GAS! My wife will even buy me strings if it means it will give me a 'new bass'.

If these things are that cool, think about it, if they ship standard on all Basses going out, how are you not going to get hooked.

At the moment there are 6 sets... Five 4-String sets and one 5-String set:

4-String:
Power
Regular
Hybrid
Super
Extra

and then the 5-String...

Per a very popular string vendor on talkbass.com.
